Enjoy a delightful and easy-to-make No-Bake Chocolate Banana Split Trifle, perfect for any occasion with layers of chocolate, bananas, and cream.
You will need:
For the chocolate pudding layer:
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
For the whipped cream layer:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the assembly:
- 4-5 bananas, sliced
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
- Chocolate syrup for drizzling
Directions:
1. Prepare the chocolate pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, or until it starts to thicken. Set aside.
2. Prepare the whipped cream: In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
3. Assemble the trifle: In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer the ingredients as follows:
- Start with a layer of crushed graham crackers.
- Add a layer of chocolate pudding.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas.
- Add a layer of whipped cream.
4. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the trifle dish, finishing with a layer of whipped cream.
5. Top the trifle: Sprinkle chocolate chips and halved maraschino cherries on top of the whipped cream layer. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
