Banana Pudding Cheesecake Bowls
Looking for a dessert that combines the creamy richness of cheesecake with the
classic comfort of banana pudding? These Banana Pudding Cheesecake Bowls are
a perfect blend of both, served in individual portions for easy enjoyment!
Ingredients:
For the Cheesecake Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
For the Banana Pudding Layer:
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup whipped cream (for folding into pudding)
For Assembly:
12-15 Nilla wafers, crushed
Extra whipped cream for topping
Additional banana slices for garnish
Caramel sauce (optional)
Directions:
1. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until
smooth and creamy.
Mix in the sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks
form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
2. Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until it
starts to thicken.
Gently fold in 1/2 cup of whipped cream to lighten the pudding mixture.
3. Assemble the Bowls:
Start with a layer of crushed Nilla wafers at the bottom of each serving bowl.
Add a layer of the banana pudding mixture on top of the wafers.
Follow with a layer of the cheesecake filling.
Add a few banana slices on top of the cheesecake layer.
4. Finish and Chill:
Top with additional whipped cream and more banana slices.
Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
